Standardized Testing

College-bound students spend much time during 10th & 11th grade studying for the all-important SAT and ACT exams. For students planning to apply directly to UCs, CSUs, and private schools, these tests are a necessary components of their applications.

For the Unverisity of California system, either the SAT Reasoning or ACT w/Writing is required. Beginning with the class of 2012 and beyond, the SAT Subject tests are optional.

For the California State Univeristy system, either the SAT or ACT is required. For details on UC/CSU requirements click here.
