Davis high guidance

Program Planning

Each year in the Spring, DHS Counselors embark on a mission to help educate and prepare students and families to make informed choices regarding their class schedules for the following year.

In February , counselors will present to 100% of Davis High 10th & 11th graders, as well as to all incoming 9th graders from Holmes, Harper, and Emerson Junior High Schools, information on graduation requirements, college and a-g requirements, course offerings, and more. A 9th grade Parent Information Night in the IPAB will be held on February 9.  Additionally, and information night about AP and ROP courses, will be held on February 21 in the IPAB at 7pm for all interested students.

The course request process is now handled online during the open portal period (approximately two weeks during the Spring). Students who miss this period will be called by their counselor in order to select courses.
