Contacting your counselor
Counselors are available to students and/or parents/guardians to meet regarding course scheduling, academic planning, college admission, academic or personal/emotional concerns, alternative education, etc. Students can visti the Counseling Office before or after school and during break or lunch to schedule an appointment. Upon making an appointment, the student will receive an appointment slip to show his/her teacher. The slip serves as a pass out of class and as a reminder for the student to attend his/her appointment.
Parents/guardians should call (530) 757-5400, Ext. 160 in the Counseling Office to schedule an appointment.
How counselors are assigned
Students are assigned a counselor at the beginning of 10th grade. This is determined by the student's last name. Students do stay with the same counselor all three years.
